United: to contribute positively to health today and tomorrow

HMC Group's Sustainability Report is online.

Our commitment to sustainability

In 2023, HMC Group initiated a structured sustainability journey, marking two fundamental milestones: the transformation of HMC Premedical S.p.A. into a Benefit Corporation and the publication of the first Sustainability Report.

To promote collaborative and transparent relationships, we analyzed the impacts related to both our sector and our stakeholders, following the GRI 2021 standards.
Among the analyzed topics, HMC stakeholders indicated product safety for customers and healthcare professionals as a priority, followed by health and social well-being, aspects closely connected to the Group's activities.

2023 was also marked by sustainability, carrying out two new activities, the first Ecovadis assessment and the Sustainability Goals Plan.

We want to establish ourselves as a valuable partner, capable of contributing to improving the health of people worldwide.

Our mission

Starting from the wealth of knowledge and skills of our people and our territory, we constantly invest in technology, innovation, research, and training.

We work every day to develop and produce medical components and devices capable of helping people improve their health and well-being.

Our values

  • Being a reliable, recognized, and loyal partner
  • Working in service of health and the healthcare system
  • Respecting and valuing every collaborator
  • Developing the values of the territory
  • Always operating with responsibility and attention to environmental respect

HMC Group's goal is to build solid and lasting partnerships that contribute to a more sustainable future.

The relationships between the Group and its suppliers are based on trust, constant dialogue, and quality, meeting the needs of both parties. The principles of excellence, respect for human rights, and environmental protection are at the core of our selection criteria. Furthermore, the companies that make up the Group prioritize local suppliers, thus reducing environmental impact and creating value for local economies.

HMC Group aims to build long-term partnerships and ethical relationships with customers, based on honesty, support, and mutual trust.

Employee well-being through training, safety, and health.

The entire HMC Group counts 189 employees in its workforce as of 31/12/2023. Women make up 54% of the workforce and men the remaining 46%. This majority is visible only in the categories of employees and workers.
