ACE Stoppers

ACE Stopper are small implantable silicone caps, they are soft and comfortable and available in a variety of lengths and diameters used to achieve continence of ostomy.
The upper part, with a diameter of 15mm, is circular and called “Skin disc” because it remains external to the stoma and in contact with the skin.

Devices that have a double function: the first is to close the stoma in the event of a leak, between uses and the other of the washing catheter; moreover they keep the stoma open if the insertion of the catheter is difficult or if the site tends to close.
The ACE Stopper caps are indicated for patients with anterograde colonic (ACE) wash, in case it is necessary to close or keep the stretch between two uses of the washing catheter.
ACE Stopper is also indicated for ostomy created for the introduction of the catheter into the bladder, such as procedures of Mitrofanoff. They can also be used for appropriately sized stakes in any other part of the body.
