Cystoflow

Cystoflow is an innovative medical device designed to optimize the management of cystoclysis procedures and manual washing in cases of macrohematuria. Cystoflow is characterized by being a closed circuit system in every phase of its use, clean and safe and easy and intuitive management.

The device consists of:
– rotary selector in white ABS, equipped with a four-color adhesive label indicating the various positions of the device, and a spring-loaded locking pin
– 4-way central body in white MABS, which includes the PE diverter and the 4-way TPE distributor
– conical PVC NO DOP cone fitting, either linear or with a “Y” derivation, for connection to the bladder catheter
– fittings for cono-catheters, in PVC NO DOP, in three different colors: green for the connection of the washing set; blue for connecting the syringe; yellow for the connection of the waste bag
– blue PE catheter cap

Urological device for the management of the cystoclysis procedure and manual washing in cases of macrohematuria.

CystoFlow is the innovative medical device that allows an easier management of the cystoclysis and manual washout procedures in presence of macro hematuria.

The benefits of Cystoflow over the standard protocol are:

  • Closed circuit system both during continuous irrigation and manual washout;
  • Reduced exposure of the patient to pathogens;
  • Safe and clean, no contamination from body fluids (blood and urine) for both operator and patient;
  • User friendly, it can be handled by a single operator;
  • No disconnection necessary to switch from continuous bladder irrigation to catheter washout.

Position 0 (Cystoclysis)

Continuous bladder irrigation with saline solution through the 3-way catheter; this is performed to minimize the onset of clots that could clog the catheter.

The syringe port and the irrigation port towards the device are momentarily closed.

Position 1.

First phase of manual washout: syringe fill-up directly from

the saline solution bag.

Way 1 bladder drain port and urine bag port are momentarily closed.

Position 2.

Inject with the syringe at low pressure saline solution into the bladder of the patient and in the same position withdraw its content (saline solution, urine, blood).

The irrigation port and the urine bag port are momentarily closed.

Position 3.

The waste fluid is drained from the syringe directly into the urine bag.

The bladder drain port and irrigation port are momentarily closed.
