Industrial Automation of HMC for transfer, labeling, palletization and bandaging of Products

We are glad to show you HMC’s Industrial Automation, whose job is to handle the transport and palletization of goods exiting the Production departments.
Our Goal is to improve the Work set-up, which allows us to reduce the human workload and prevent errors.
Furthermore, Automation will allow us to provide for the movement and palletization of goods 24/7, thus removing work spikes, source for potential errors.

Automation will take over heavy, low-value manual jobs, such as:

• Box preparation (average of 600 boxes per day)
• Packaging and labeling of boxes
• Transferring the completed, labeled box on a pallet
• Transferring the completed pallet in the bandaging section
• Bandaging the pallet
• Transferring via shuttle of the produced pallets in the deposit area of the warehouse

The success for this Project was achieved thanks to our People’s Ability to Innovate, by going from high to low manual labor, which requires more coordination and structure.
